What size are they?

The flat-back posts are 20G (0.8 mm) and 6 mm long. The small hoops have a 10 mm inner diameter. Depending on the style and your anatomy, these measurements may suit healed lobe, second-lobe, tragus, helix, conch, or daith piercings. Ask a professional piercer if you are unsure which style or placement fits.

What are the earrings made from?

The earrings are made with 316L stainless steel and 5A cubic zirconia accents. The Gold option has 14K gold plating. The Silver option does not have gold plating. If you have a known metal allergy, ask your piercer whether 316L stainless steel is appropriate for you.

How do the flat backs fasten?

The construction

A flat back sits closer to your ear.

A flat screw-on disc covers the end of the post, so there is less exposed metal behind your ear. The smooth, low-profile design is comfortable for sleeping when the post and placement fit your ear.

Flat disc backing: A smooth disc rests against the back of your ear.
Screw-on closure: The backing threads onto the post. Check that it is attached before wearing.
Measured post: The flat-back post is 6 mm long and 20G, which is 0.8 mm wide.
